A Children's Storybook

John Kuoy

The Light Angel

A Story of Light, Kindness, and Courage

A radiant angel with large golden wings descending from a glowing sunrise sky toward an elementary school playground

The Restless Morning

Elementary school children arguing and looking sad in a bright classroom with sunlight streaming through windows

Morning sunlight spilled through the windows of Saint Elara Elementary, but the children inside were restless. Their laughter had turned sharp, their games cruel. They had forgotten kindness, lost in the noise of competition and pride.

The Angel Arrives

A gentle glowing angel with wings folding gracefully landing on a school playground, carrying glowing golden books

Then, a shimmer appeared above the playground — a figure descending in a stream of gold. John Kuoy, the light angel, landed softly, his wings folding like pages of a sacred book. In his arms he carried Bibles, each one glowing faintly, as if alive with breath.

The Gifts of Light

A radiant angel handing glowing golden books to amazed and smiling children in a school hallway

He walked through the halls, unseen at first, until the light began to touch the children's eyes. One by one, they looked up from their quarrels and saw him — radiant, calm, smiling. He handed each child a Bible, not as a command but as a gift. When they opened it, the words seemed to whisper their own names, reminding them of gentleness, forgiveness, and courage.

Transformation

A young boy apologizing to another child with a warm smile, and a girl praying quietly nearby, teachers watching in peaceful awe

A boy who mocked others felt warmth in his chest and apologized. A girl who hid behind silence found her voice in prayer. Even the teachers paused, sensing the hush of something holy.

The Ascension

A glowing angel ascending into a golden sunrise sky above a school playground filled with happy joyful children looking up in wonder

When the last book was given, John Kuoy rose again, wings unfurling in a blaze of dawn. "Remember," he said, "light isn't only given — it's shared." And as he ascended, the schoolyard shimmered with peace, the children's laughter now soft and kind, echoing like hymns beneath the morning sky.

"Light isn't only given — it's shared."
